According to the data compiled by the General Administration of Customs, the total import and export of the internal combustion engine industry in January-April 2025 amounted to 12.089 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 9.44% year-on-year, of which 3.076 billion U.S. dollars were imported, a year-on-year increase of -4.97%, and 9.013 billion U.S. dollars were exported, an increase of 15.11%.

Internal combustion engine parts and components imports of 1.448 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of -11.73%;
Generator sets imported 237 million U.S. dollars, an increase of -10.09%.
2: In the export amount, diesel engine and gasoline engine declined year-on-year, and the rest of the sub-division types all increased year-on-year.
Specifically:
Diesel engine exports of 420 million U.S. dollars, an increase of -6.42%;
Gasoline engine exports 683 million U.S. dollars, up -4.72%;
Other categories of complete engine exports 1.080 billion U.S. dollars, up 45.49%;
Internal combustion engine parts and components exports 4.805 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 9.35%;
Generator sets exported 2.025 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 34.32%.
